Changing perceptions of a major industry The Client: Forest Products Association of Canada (FPAC) The Challenge: Change the perception of young workers that Canada’s forestry sector was in a long decline, with mill closures and fierce competition from lower-cost countries such as China. The Solution: TheGreenestWorkforce.ca, a Labour Market Information (LMI) website showcasing the resurgent economic strength of the sector, which had some 60,000 positions open between 2010 and 2020, and its transformation into a global leader in sustainable practices. The site was launched with a national advertising campaign. The Result: From 2016 to 2022, theGreenestWorkforce.ca had more than 600,000 visitors. In 2018, FPAC retained inMotion to develop Phase 2 of the site, launched in 2019, which introduced a wide range of new content and functionality.
